The Chevrolet Cruze family is about to get another member, as the wagon variant will be unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show. This will be third variant, after the sedan and hatchback. Cruze sales have already passed the one million units mark since the model’s 2009 launch, and the new body style should help it no end in wagon-loving Europe.
Cargo space is 500 liters up to the window line, and 1500 liters if you fill it all the way to the roof with the rear seats folded. Roof rails will be standard as well. The Cruze will also receive a facelift, with “remodeled front fascia, modified head-lamp interiors and fog lamps, and new wheel styles on the exterior and refinements to the center console and a greater choice of seat finishes for the interior.” A new 1.7-liter diesel engine with 130 bhp and start-stop technology will debut in some markets as well.
