Audi has achieved its best-ever rankings in the latest JD Power APEAL survey. At second place in customer satisfaction among all brands, the Ingolstadt, Germany-based company outshone its direct competitors with the Audi A4 all-road quattro and Audi Q5 models placing first and second in their class.
The 2013 edition of the Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout (APEAL) customer satisfaction survey marks the 18th time it has been conducted by renowned US market-research agency, JD Power.
More specifically, JD Power surveyed 83,000 American car buyers about the first 90 days with their 2013 model-year vehicles.
With 857 out of a possible 1,000 points, Audi scored 62 points higher than the industry average and advanced two places to second place overall among 33 manufacturers. In addition to the 1-2 victory among compact premium SUVs, many other Audi vehicles likewise triumphed. The A4/A5, A6, A8 and Q7 each captured second place in their respective categories.
