Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corp. (MMPC) adds more excitement to its passenger car lineup with the recent official unveiling of the all-new Mirage G4.
Designed to address the need for a practical yet stylish compact sedan, the Mirage G4, which stands for Mirage Global four-door sedan, offers great cabin and trunk spaces, class-leading features and amenities.
The all-new Mirage G4 is available in GLS and GLX variants and in both continuous variable transmission (CVT) and 5-speed manual transmission. Suggested introductory retail price starts at P578,000 for the GLX MT, P628,000 for the GLX CVT, P668,000 for the GLS MT and P718,000 for the top-of-the-line GLS CVT.
At the heart of the all-new Mirage G4 is a lightweight and compact 1.2-liter 3 in-line DOHC Mivec (Mitsubishi Innovative Valve timing Electronic Control) gasoline engine that generates a maximum output of 77 HP and 100 Nm of torque. Thanks to this eco-friendly engine, and combined with the model’s excellent aerodynamics which is among the best in class and lightest among Mitsibishi’s Reinforced Impact Safety Evolution (Rise) body, the all-new Mirage G4 is rated to achieve up to a 21-kilometer-per-liter fuel efficiency (based on Mitsubishi Motors test results using EU combined cycle).
New front grille
Compared to its hatchback counterpart, the all-new Mirage G4 flaunts an attractive and modern styling radiator front grille. The GLS variant gets a “Diamond-Cut” chrome grille while the GLX sports a black grille.
Similar with its hatchback sibling, the Mirage G4 is equipped with front dual SRS airbags to ensure safety and protection from direct-impact collisions. As a global sedan, the Mirage G4 features the Rise body, which ensures the safety of all passengers during collision and impact. The body structure’s crumple zones are designed to effectively absorb and dispense crash energy from all directions, completely protecting the interior cabin.
Moreover, the GLS is also equipped with antilock braking system with electronic brakeforce distribution that prevents the wheels from locking up when rolling on wet or slippery roads.
The top-of-the-line GLS variant is equipped with keyless operation system as well as a push button to start or stop the engine.
With this new compact sedan in the market, MMPC is assuring a worry-free ownership to every Mirage G4 customer with its extended warranty period of five years or 100,000 kilometers, whichever comes first.
