Organizers of the Bumper-to-Bumper Carshow has announced that it will display a very rare and possibly the oldest car in the country. One display at the SM Mall of Asia’s outdoor By the Bay fountain area. This is the 1902 De Laton Brass car was made in France and was imported to the Philippines in the early 1900s.  It is one of the first 4-cylinder petrol-powered internal combustion automobile ever made in the world. Back in those days, the vehicles were usually powered by steam engines. This 2-seater, chain driven car has a body made out of wood, brass and aluminum.  This vintage car is older than the 1904 Richard Brasier restored by classic car enthusiast and media personality Cito Beltran, thought to be the oldest in the country.
Aside from this French vintage car, other custom and classic show cars will be on display for a one-day Valentine presentation showcase. Organizers of this event are staging a win-a-date contest. For more information regarding the event, please visit www.facebook.com/b2bcarshow.
