The NBI has intercepted a Toyota Revo suspected to be loaded with explosives at the parking area of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (Naia) terminal 3 in Pasay City early Monday.
Radio reports said four still unnamed individuals were arrested by National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) personnel at the Parking B of terminal 3. The incident prompted the airport authorities to place Naia3 under full alert.
Chief SuperintendentChristopher Laxa, Philippine National Police Aviation Security Group (PNP ASG), said in a text message to INQUIRER.net that the police do not have the official report yet as this was an NBI-led operation.
“They (NBI) just informed the security guard at the area after the conduct of their operation,” Laxa said.
