Last year we got the Spock versus Spock TV commercial, with Spock played by Zachary Quinto in an Audi S7 going against Spock Prime (Leonard Nimoy) in a Mercedes CLS. The contest involved loading a golf bag into the trunk and driving to the country club. Since it was an Audi commercial, you can easily guess who won the driving part.
Now we get Captain Kirk himself (Kirk Prime?), William Shatner, and again it involves golf, or rather, a Golf. Shatner is depicted moving into a German neighborhood and showing off his new electric e-Golf to a young fan. And at the end of the ad, he also has a close encounter with an old friend, driving even something more futuristic.
