Tomorrow’s Innovative Engineering: this is the catch phrase of the newest motorcycle after market performance dealer in the metro, FAITO Racing.

Established in Malaysia in 2004, FAITO Racing was born out of the vision of its founder, Mr. Willet Teoh. Mr. Teoh is an engineer by profession. His family has been in the motorcycle replacement parts business since the 1960s. FAITO Racing has become synonymous with high quality products at very competitive prices, with offices and dealers in Japan, Thailand, Indonesia and even Europe. Now with the opening of its first showroom in Caloocan, Faito Racing is now the latest player in the highly competitive and lucrative motorcycle aftermarket scene.

Initially, the products on offer are for bikes 250cc and below, as well as underbones and scooters. With bike ownership at an all time high, this entry of Faito will be welcomed by the reported 8 million registered bike owners in the Philippines. “Faito is an established brand and has [a good] track record in quality and durability, [a result of] the R&D commitment and [presence of] qualified engineers in this field. That’s the reason why we need to bring this awesome brand with its wide range of product line-up here”, said James Agabin, President of Faito Racing Philippines Inc.

Faito has been a staunch supporter of motorsports, with numerous years of participation in Malaysian and International races such as the Asian Road Racing Championship (ARCC).

“We are always ready and innovative to produce more interesting products for motorcycle lovers to be in trend with the market by not just producing performance but quality motorcycle parts for better efficiency and safety” this according to Mr. Willet Teoh, Founder and Managing Director of the Faito Group. He is also the Chief R&D Engineer of the company. “Faito needs to be in this market to ensure everyone in the Asian market experiences the joy of riding,” added Teoh.

During the press conference, the issue of pricing was brought up. As there are many competitors already in the performance aftermarket, the media was curious on what would be the positioning of Faito. Mr. Sheldon Ang, the Operations Manager of Faito Racing, replied, “You get what you pay for. Our prices might be a bit higher, but definitely the parts will last.” For FAITO Racing that is the crux of it all: quality comes first.
