Gas down, diesel up in price moves

Oil firms have imposed mixed price adjustments amid volatile movement in the international market.

Petron, Shell and Seaoil adjusted prices at 12:01 a.m. Tuesday, trimming gasoline prices by 25 centavos per liter and raising diesel prices by 35 centavos per liter and kerosene by 20 centavos.

Phoenix Petroleum and PTT Philippines cut gasoline prices by 25 centavos and increased diesel by 35 centavos per liter at 6 a.m., also Tuesday.

Eastern Petroleum Corp. announced it reduced gasoline prices by 30 centavos per liter from 6 p.m. Monday. However, the diesel price increase of 30 centavos will be implemented at 12:01 a.m. Tuesday.–Riza T. Olchondra
