Porsche PH launches all-new Panamera

PGA cars, the local distributors of Porsche, recently took the covers off the 2017 Porsche Panamera Turbo.

The new Panamera is longer, wider, more efficient and more importantly, faster than its previous predecessor.

The new Panamera is a front-engine four-door sedan with twin turbo, 4.0 liter V8 , churning out 550bhp @ 5750-6000 rpm, with 770 Nm of torque, mated to an 8-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) dual-clutch transmission. This propels the Panamera from 0-100 kph in just 3.8 seconds (3.6 with Sport Chrono Package), with a top speed of 306 kph.

Stopping power is provided by a 6-piston aluminum monobloc with fixed calipers up front, and 4-piston aluminum monobloc brakes at the rear.

Standard to the new Panamera Turbo are 20 inch wheels, adaptive air suspension including Porsche Active Suspension, a Bose surround sound system with 14 loudspeakers and a subwoofer. Another new feature is the 4 way adaptive rear spoiler that opens automatically once it hits 100kph. Also included are Tire Pressure Monitoring (TPM), an auto start/stop function and coasting, 14-way power seats (front) with memory package. LED main headlights, and many more. Individual options are also available to suit the new owners’ fancy.
