MORE than 30,000 Lalamove partner drivers in Luzon and Cebu will receive VIP Club cards as a result of a new partnership agreement signed between on-demand delivery app Lalamove and Seaoil Philippines.

Lalamove explained the card allows its motorcycle, MPV and light truck partner drivers to earn points from Seaoil fuel purchases, which can be redeemed as cash once a minimum number of points is reached. A P5 discount on every liter of Seaoil purchased will also be extended to cardholders

Lalamove aims to partner with prestigious companies with the most relevant benefits, and I’m sure our Lalamove partner drivers will greatly appreciate Seaoil’s cash redemption feature. This will not only help them in their main expense, which is fuel, but also help them save up for other day-to-day needs,” said Lalamove managing director Dannah Majarocon.

Drivers earn six points for every P100 gasoline purchase and two points for every P100 diesel purchase. The cash redemption feature becomes available once Lalamove cardholders accumulate 100 points. One point is equivalent to P1, Lalamove said.

It added part of the partnership with Seaoil allows Lalamove drivers who spend at least P150 during the period of June 25 to July 25 to get a P50 rebate if they pay through the GCash app. The offer is available in 31 of the 50 participating Seaoil stations, according to the delivery company.

“The partnership is part of our effort to provide better products and services to fleet and delivery motorists. We hope the Seaoil VIP Club card will draw more customers to make the most out of Seaoil’s imported and high-quality fuels and lubricants,” said Seaoil CEO Glenn Yu.

Lalamove said it had made the cards available to its drivers beginning June 20.
