THE muddiest of trails, the deepest of forests are what Peugeot proposes its one-off 3008 SUV can conquer.
The unique go-anywhere model — a 1.6-liter PureTech GT Line variant — features a series of subtle all-terrain enhancements like grippy Cooper AT3 off-road tires wrapping over 17-inch steel wheels a skid plate in front. A powerful LED light bar mounted on the Rival aluminum roof rack provides additional illumination when driving on unmarked roads. On top of the 3008 in a fully retractable ARB Simpson roof tent, allowing for overnight accommodations.
The one-off model is finished in a unique wrap and fitted with a bicycle rack; perfect for carrying Peugeot’s own trail bike.
“This one-off model exemplifies the practicality and off-road ability of our bestselling SUV. With relatively minor modifications, the 3008 has tackled some tough terrain, proving the effectiveness of its Advanced Grip Control technology and demonstrating its true outdoor potential,” said Peugeot UK managing director David Peel.
The special 3008 SUV was created for a magazine feature and was used to tackle the northern section of the Ho Chi Minh trail in Vietnam as part of an epic on- and off-road drive.
