Nissan’s Intelligent Mobility at the forefront of WOCEE 2019 tech show
Gearheads and techies are looking forward to visiting the 3rd edition of the highly-anticipated World of Consumer Electronics Expo (WOCEE) showcasing the latest and cutting-edge products and services in consumer technology. This would include tech innovations by leading car brands and personal mobility companies that are revolutionizing the way people move today.
Nissan will present its Intelligent Mobility systems at the WOCEE with its suite of latest innovations and features including safety technology and driver aids that gives new Nissan owners the added comfort of knowing that they can safely navigate through the metro’s traffic and highways with confidence. Among key features that will be demonstrated at the WOCEE are the Intelligent Around View Monitor with Moving Object Detection that gives the user a 360-degree bird’s eye view so the driver will be mindful of any obstacles around the vehicle that are hidden because of blind spots. Thanks for the vehicle’s 4 camera system, it can ably navigate in tight spots or areas with low lying obstacles hidden from the driver’s vantage point.
Another cool tech feature from Nissan’s Intelligent Mobility suite is its Intelligent Rear View Mirror which can provide a clear and wider rear view usually blocked by the vehicle’s rear seats. Its Blind Spot Warning is also a feature that alerts the driver when a vehicle is detected within one’s blind spot area. Other driver aids like its Lane Departure Warning makes sure the driver is being warned if the car has strayed from its intended lane, this is specially useful for driving long hours where fatigue sometimes sets in, and lowers the driver’s alertness.
Aside from Nissan’s impressive display at the WOCEE, other innovative tech brands like Inokim Mini Electric Scooter and the DYU Seated E-Scooter will be showcased at the event. The Inokim Mini is the latest model to come from Israeli-based e-vehicle powerhouse Myway. At only 8.5 kilograms, this scooter can take some punishment and is durable enough to be ridden on bumpy roads. Though considered lightweight, this electric scooter is equipped with a 200-watt motor and runs up to 20 kilometers per hour. Check out its other model the DYU Seater E-Scooter, a practical ergonomically-designed e-bike.
Another brand to check out at the WOCEE is the DECC and its models of e-tricycles. Available in two varieties, the DECC SEV 1.0 is a personal mobility trike while the DECC E-SIX can be used for public transportation. The SEV 1.0 features a compact body and its battery life can run from 6 to 10 hours while the E-SIX features a bigger chassis and is capable of carrying two to four passengers with a 12- to 16- hour battery life. Popular e-transport brand Segway and Ninebot are also expected to showcase their latest offerings including the heavy-duty Segway I2 SE Patroller and its stylish Ninebot Elite PTR.
