SUZUKI Motor Corp. announced its exhibit at the upcoming 46th Tokyo Motor Show, set on October 24 to November 4, will be led by the Waku SPO compact plug-in hybrid electric and the Hanare autonomous driving vehicle.

The carmaker said the theme for its booth in this year’s show is “Excitement for you, excitement for everyone.”

Suzuki is celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2020. To mark the milestone, the company said it will “introduce initiatives in development of products and technologies for opening up a ‘big future’ towards the next 100 years.

Suzuki described the Waku SPO as a “personal compact PHEV” with which “everyone can share fun and excitement, anywhere, anytime.” The car has a “Waku waku” switch that will change its “body shape, front mask and content shown on the dashboard.” It proposes a sharable future that can transform to meet people’s idea of fun, according to Suzuki.
