DELIVERIES of the Ford Ranger in the third quarter of the year were the highest ever for any three-month stretch, Ford Philippines said in a statement.
The company noted sales of the Ranger pickup rose 28% in the third quarter, or 3,852 vehicles sold. This puts the model’s sales at 10,688 units for the first nine months of the year, representing a 26% from the same period in 2018.
“The Ranger remains a key driver of our growth in the Philippines and continues to gain a wide appeal among customers with varying needs. We remain confident that the segment-defining pickup truck will help sustain our momentum as we close out the year,” said PK Umashankar, managing director of Ford Philippines.
The company said its lineup of the Ranger counts 11 variants. Prices of the Ranger start at P1.032 million.
