GAC Motor Bags 2 Championship Titles at the 2019 Bonifacio Cup Endurance Challenge
GAC Motor bagged the championship title at this year’s Gat Andres Bonifacio Cup Endurance Challenge under Manufacturer’s Class and Open Class Group B.
The race kicked off at 9:00 a. m. on Dec. 1 at the Batangas Racing Circuit (BRC) in line with the celebration of the 156th Bonifacio Day.
GAC Motor Race Team, composed of Brennan Lim, Mark Bernardo, Francis Arjonillo, Aurick Go, Sung Joon Park, Andre Tan, Jun Magno (race engineer), and E.Z. Ligaya (team manager), successfully placed first in both four-hour (Makisig Category) and eight-hour (Matatag Category) categories under Manufacturer’s Class and Open Class Group B.
The two race entries, GA4 sedans, showcased the exceptional performance and unmatched features that GAC Motor offers. When the checkered flag waved after eight hours of endurance test, GAC Motor finished strong without any major issues aside from refueling and tire changes.
The recently concluded Bonifacio Cup was the second successful race of GAC Motor in 2019 after their win at the Kalayaan Cup last June. Endurance racing is an extreme test of durability, reliability, and performance.
