Mazda introduces Mazda3 edition100

As Mazda continues to celebrate its centennial year, what better way to do so with a feather on the cap by winning the coveted World Car Awards as the 2020 World Car Design of the Year award for the all-new Mazda3. Mazda Philippines introduces the Mazda3 edition100 featuring a distinctive colorway with detail enhancements that further accentuates the dynamic form of the Mazda3 Sportback Premium. The 2020 Mazda3 is Mazda’s first new generation model to showcase the evolution and coming of age of its Evolved KODO: Soul of Motion design philosophy.

The all-new Mazda3 sets a new standard in defining beauty and has visibly enhanced its level of craftsmanship in its class, compared to its predecessor model.

To celebrate this milestone, Mazda Philippines introduces the Mazda3 edition100, which are fitted with original equipment Mazdaspeed body kits that are color-matched with the three key body colors of the Mazda3 Sportback Premium. These color schemes are – Soul Red body kits for the Snowflake White Pearl and Jet Black Mazda3 exterior; and Gloss Black body kits for the Soul Red Crystal exterior. The colorways give these exclusive commemorative models a very distinctive and dynamic look and will be paired with premium red leather seats and interior trims, giving it a very sporty appeal.

Another distinctive exterior enhancement is its high-gloss Midnight Black 18-inch wheels and red colored brake calipers, as a nod to the model’s sporty and dynamic DNA. One subtle detail for this model also was its front license plate holder, which was relocated to make its sure its beautiful and striking front grille will not be impeded visually.

The World Car Design of the Year Award is given in recognition to honor new vehicles that exemplify innovation, style and design excellence. The award is a validation that the all-new Mazda3’s evolutionary design and the company’s roadmap to make sure it has elevated its commitment in giving cars with a high level of craftsmanship and track record of proven performance.

When driving the all-new Mazda3 one can only expect a vehicle with an enhanced level of comfort and premium feel while at the same time it raised the bar of safety with its advanced i-Activsense suite of active and passive safety systems.  The all-new Mazda3 is equipped with Mazda Radar Cruise Control, Cruising Traffic Support, Smart Brake Support for forward and reverse, as well as Front and Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Blind Spot Monitoring, Adaptive LED Front-Lighting System, Lane Departure Warning with Lane Keep Assist and Driver Attention Alert and Driver Monitoring systems.  

For the tenth straight year, the 2020 Mazda3 has also recently earned for itself the Top Safety Pick+ status from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS).  The car has also been also awarded the maximum five-star rating by the Euro New Car Assessment Program (EURO NCAP) in 2019 by achieving its highest-ever score of 98% for Adult Occupant protection. The car also earned top points in three other Euro NCAP test categories – Child Occupant, Vulnerable Road User (pedestrian safety) and Safety Assist.
