Volkswagen PH holds ‘VWorld Weekend’ on Sept 16 & 17 at Glorietta Activity Center
Volkswagen Philippines, exclusive importer and distributor of the country’s best-selling European car brand, will hold the “VWorld Weekend” on September 16 and 17 at the Glorietta Activity Center in Makati City. For two days, the “VWorld Weekend” an easier way to own their very own premium German-branded, precision-engineered and designed Volkswagen at special purchase and financing packages.
On display at the “VWorld Weekend” will be the accessorized Beetle and the Polo Hatchback Club Edition. Volkswagen will also showcase at the event the new Jetta that will be sold starting P1.1 million (for the Comfortline). Additional variants for the Jetta are Highline, Business Edition and Business Edition +.
The Jetta has been Volkswagen Philippines’ bestselling sedan in 2016. The Jetta has been dubbed the sedan “Made for Everyday Living” with its stylish looks, feature-packed amenities, and remarkable comfort features–characteristics that have enabled 14 million units to be sold worldwide in its six generations. The Jetta is the only diesel model in its segment, powered by a 2.0-liter Turbocharged Direct Injection (TDI) diesel engine mated to a 6-speed DSG transmission system that generates 150 PS of power at 3,500-4,200rpm and a class-leading 340Nm of torque at 1,750-3,000rpm. Standard for all variants are the sunroof, leather seats, Keyless-Go with Push Start and the 5.8” Touchscreen Color Display Audio.
The “VWorld Weekend” will also be offering the Polo Hatchback starting at P858,000 and the iconic Beetle starting at P1.24 million. The event will offer special financing packages thru BPI Auto Loans for faster loan processing. These sales offers include all-in down payment for as low as P80,000 and 0% interest for up to 60 months (5 years).
The “VWorld Weekend” also promises to be a fun family event for both adults and their children. During the two-day run, Volkswagen Philippines’ award-winning Child Safety Initiative (CSI) will offer the Junior Driving Course. The Junior Driving Course is aimed at introducing early childhood road safety awareness to children 4 to 8 years old, while imparting important road safety habits to their parents. A 15-minute seminar for both parents and their children will be held, then the 50-square-meter Junior Driving Course simulating a road network complete with kiddie cars, toolkits and road signs will make the children learn, hands-on, the importance of road safety. At the end of the course, Junior Driver’s Licenses will be issued to young CSI “graduates”.
