Jaguar and Land Rover have a new home. All British Cars, the first dealership to be appointed by Coventry Motors Corporation (CMC), the country’s authorized distributor for Jaguar and Land Rover, held the inaugural opening of the showroom located at 1008 EDSA Greenhills, San Juan City.

Just about half a year ago, Jaguar Land Rover Asia Pacific Importers appointed Coventry Motors Corporation as the new official Jaguar Land Rover importers for the Philippine market, with a formal contract signing ceremony held at the Manila Golf & Country Club last November 24.

The celebration was attended by a number of Jaguar and Land Rover Asia Pacific executives led by Alistair Scott, sales director, and Andy Wust, customer service director.

Guests of honor included British Ambassador Daniel Pruce and San Juan City Mayor Guia Gomez.

Representing All British Cars was Mandy Eduque, its president; and George Barcelon and Gerry Alejandro, chairman and president of Coventry Motors Corporation, respectively, at the ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the official opening of the new showroom.

The new Jaguar and Land Rover showroom is now open.

“We begin a new chapter in our brand footprint in the Philippines with the opening of the new Jaguar and Land Rover showroom by All British Cars. This facility, like all our showrooms globally, was designed to allow our customers to immerse themselves in the Jaguar and Land Rover brand experience from the moment they walk through the doors of the showroom,” said Scott.

“We are delighted to find a partner in All British Cars that can make that happen for our customers and for our brands,” he added.

The spacious, modern, and corporate image-compliant showroom and after-sales workshop were officially opened to hundreds of guests last June 21.

A total area of about 10,000 square feet showcased the latest Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles.

The new dealership showroom can fit nine vehicles with ample room for comfortable seating lounges for customers, sales offices, and multiple merchandise and accessories displays.

The showroom also has a dedicated vehicle handover area and adequate parking spaces for customers.

The showroom, including furniture and fixtures imported from an accredited international supplier, was built according to the brands’ global Arch retail design standards.

The new Jaguar and Land Rover showroom is now open.

This helps to ensure that the new showroom and workshop is consistent with the same design aesthetics and ambience reflective of the Jaguar and Land Rover brand experience known the world over.

The overall design speaks of modern elegance, distinguished by a modern sunshine gray and champagne silver rectangular façade, clean sleek lines that prominently feature elements of glass, walnut-textured finishes, and sophisticated lighting to give the space a fresh and luxurious feel.

A large 82-inch digital screen greets its visitors showing branded films, while the showroom’s customer lounge comes with 55-inch screens and high speed Wi-Fi service to customers as they wait for their vehicles.

A self-service refreshments bar equipped with a glass-fronted refrigerator and a coffee machine is also made available for the convenience of guests and customers.

Customers can also check out the Jaguar and Land Rover boutique that offers the latest accessories, wheels and genuine branded merchandise along with an interactive color and trim display of the vehicles.

The dealership is likewise equipped with a 7,000-square-feet after-sales service workshop for Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles.

Its six-bay workshop has the proper tools and latest technologies, and a testing facility that allows for a comprehensive range of testing services, including durability, calibration, and hot weather testing for heat and humidity.

The workshop is also equipped to test brake systems, powertrains, chassis, and heat and ventilation systems, as well as to check the off-road and driving capability of Land Rover’s unique terrain response system.

Located also within the showroom is a service reception area furnished with another 55-inch screen that shows live feeds from the service bay area so customers can see how their vehicles are being attended to.
