During the dealer conference, themed “Keep Pushing Forward,” NMPI also awarded the following:

NMPI also gave recognitions to the most improved dealerships in terms of customer satisfaction, sales operations, service and parts, as well as citations in Financial Management and compliance with the After-Sales Dealer Operations Standards (AS-DOS).

Forming part of the evening’s highlights, NMPI named the 2011-2012 Nissan Service Advisor Excellence Competency (NISAC) and Nissan Service Technician Excellence Competency (NISTEC) awardees, who received congratulatory messages from Nissan Motor Company, Ltd. President Carlos Ghosn.

“The automotive industry continues to face many challenges, but we look at them not as a hindrance to growth but as opportunities to build strength,” NMPI President and CEO Allen Chen said. “This is not the time to sit back and hope the tough cycle will pass. Instead, we must take a more active and more aggressive role in the turn around of our respective businesses.”

In addition to the awarding, the NMPI management, led by its president and CEO Allen Chen, utilized the event to present the collective accomplishments of NMPI and its whole dealer network in terms of marketing, sales and after-sales. To further strengthen the Nissan brand’s presence in the market, NMPI also presented its strategies and action plans for this year.
