Accent lifts Hyundai to 21% year-on-year growth in February 2017

Hyundai’s passenger car (PC) segment scored a 22 percent year-on-year growth, according to the February 2017 sales report of Hyundai Asia Resources, Inc. (HARI), the authorized importer and distributor of Hyundai vehicles in the Philippines.

Peugeot 3008 SUV: 2017 European Car of the Year

As a most pleasant coup, the Peugeot 3008 won the 2017 European Car of the Year Award. This has led to some favorable problems as Peugeot is suddenly a victim of its own success, struggling to produce enough units of the admittedly highly impressive 3008 SUV from its Sochaux-Montbeliard factory, the second most technologically advanced factory in Europe, second only to the Airbus factory in Toulouse.

Auto manufacturers post 7.5% year-on-year growth in February

After reporting a record-setting 27.8 percent year-on-year sales growth in January 2017, the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, Inc. (CAMPI) and Truck Manufacturers Association (TMA) posted 7.5 percent growth in February 2017 compared to the same month last year.
