MANILA, Philippines — A bus ran over a motorcycle-riding man, killing him instantly, on the corner of Roxas Boulevard and Ninoy Aquino International Airport road in Parañaque City Monday morning.
The man died on the spot when he slid under a Seven Sky Transit bus packed with passengers after it sideswiped and run over his motorcycle.
A radio report said the bus bore the license plate TYW 816.
A Metropolitan Manila Development Authority Metrobase officer said the still unidentified man was brought to Royalty Funeral Homes in Las Piñas.
The MMDA said the accident caused heavy traffic on Roxas Boulevard but it has been cleared as of 11am. –With report by Julliane Love De Jesus
