The 44th Tokyo Motor Show opened its gates to the media today, the first of two Press Days. The theme is “Your heart will race” in anticipation of the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games which is expected to raise the dynamic global image of Tokyo. This event will present the world premiere of 75 cars while 68 cars will debut as a Japanese premiere. Honda has over 40 vehicles displayed in an area that is the largest for a single brand. Honda’ s theme is “Go beyond imagination” reflecting its aspiration to exceed people’s expectations and to make products that excel their past. The stars of Honda’s show are the all-new NSX supercar, the Clarity fuel cell sedan and the new Civic Type R. -Aida Sevilla Mendoza
