For the honor, the iconic maker of connectable, plastic toys selected the R8 LMS ultra that won in the Nurburgring in 2014, and the Audi R18 e-tron quattro from the FIA World Endurance Championship.

The cool new little constructible collectibles are available in stores and online at sites including www.toysrus.com and www.lego.com, for $14.99 each.

The two Audi models are among seven new vehicles that are getting the official Lego treatment this spring, a lineup of nameplates that also includes the Chevrolet Corvette Z06, Ford Mustang GT, a Ford F-150 Raptor model, a Chevrolet Camaro drag racer and a Porsche 911.

For kids wanting to build their dream car, Ford Mustang and F-150 Raptor LEGO Speed Champions sets are now available. Kids ages seven and up, including those young at heart, can purchase either set directly from the LEGO store. The 185-piece Mustang kit includes a time board and race driver and retails for $14.99, while the 664-piece F-150 Raptor set sells for $49.99 and features a well-equipped garage, trailer, a drag racing Christmas tree and Model A hot rod, plus a crew of Ford workers to ensure top-quality work.
