The second installment of Chicdriven Women Empowerment Expo will be on Oct. 7 and 8, 2017 at the Alabang Town Center. Now on its third year, the expo now focuses on nurturing roles that women play.

In support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a free Breast Screening and Cancer Awareness Seminar will be one of the highlights of the event.

Last year, almost 300 women availed of the screening conducted in partnership with Zonta Club Alabang and GAD (Gender and Development Office) of the Municipality of Muntinlupa.

The expo will feature seminars on positive parenting, with Clarisse Talavera-Aviñante sharing tips on how to discipline your kids without the screams.

Chef Rolando and Jacquiline Laudico

PLDT ambassador Michelle Alignay will discuss how to make gadgets a parenting tool.

Dermatologist Anna Palabyab–Rufino will also share her parenting stories as she juggles work, being a mom, and having time for herself.

Home Matters will showcase wellness with an Essential Oil 101 talk by Cathy Alegre of Southern Blends. This will go back to back with a La Germania cooking demo by Chef Rolando and Jacqueline Laudico.

Mikaela Martinez

Better You brings together Marie France/Facial Care Center ambassadors and model moms Mikaela Lagdameo-Martinez and Kelly Misa-Fernandez to share their life hacks on balancing “me” time and family time.

Mazda Drives talks about women stereotypes and how this affects our daily lives, both on the road and at home.
