The new Bentley Continental GT finally arrives

The new Bentley Continental GT has finally arrived in the Philippines. Bentley Manila welcomes this extraordinary Grand Tourer in its newest showroom in Bonifacio Global City with PGA Group chairman Robert Coyiuto, Jr. and Bentley brand ambassador Iñigo Zobel.

The third-generation Bentley Continental GT has a proud chrome matrix grille that is lower than before, wider than before, and more aggressive than ever. It is flanked on both sides by matrix LED headlights with 82 individual LEDs, featuring a cut crystal effect, echoed by the elliptical taillights—the jewels of the new Continental GT.

The Bentley Continental GT is the first car in the world to have its entire body crafted using aluminum super forming technology, enabling its iconic shape and the formation of the power line. This line emerges from between the headlamps, spears along through the door, and fades out before the muscular rear haunch. These key lines are an evolution of Bentley’s DNA from the original 1950’s R-Type Continental. Aside from the luxurious feel and looks, the new Continental GT is also the most technically advanced Bentley ever.

The chassis and powertrain features provide a more powerful, efficient, dynamic, and comfortable car. It is an active all-wheel-drive, luxury GT car, boasting a new version of the 6-litre W12, twin turbocharged engine that delivers 635 horsepower, 900 Nm of torque, and a top speed of 333kmh, coupled with a new 8-speed Dual Clutch Transmission. Based on the driving specification by Mulliner, the bespoke division of Bentley Motors, it is fitted with 22” 5 Open Spoke Alloy Wheel with a black and hand-polished finish. It features a new adaptive suspension system with three-chamber air-spring technology, which when coupled with the Bentley Dynamic Ride System, provides a more comfortable, yet dynamically agile car to drive. The Continental GT also features the largest steel brakes in production (420 mm, 10-piston calipers). Lastly, the luxury starts before you even enter the car. The doors are engineered to hold at any angle, which feels like quality and class.

Truly, the Continental GT is designed and engineered to be the best grand tourer in the world. The interior design of this Grand Tourer, on the other hand, is tailored specifically to the modern luxury customer with unrivalled attention to detail, starting with the veneer which trims all the way around the cabin. At the center, we have the triple-sided rotating display which enables the driver to switch between digital and analogue panels. They’re also equipped with a premium audio system by Naim, with 2200 watts, 18 speakers, and 2 active speakers under the seats.
