THOSE looking for more dynamic Honda subcompacts can now place their reservations at any Honda Cars dealership for the limited-edition Honda City 1.5 Sport CVT and Honda Jazz 1.5 Sport CVT.
Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) said the City 1.5 Sport CVT is distinguished by LED headlights and fog lamps, power-folding side-view mirrors with integrated turn signals, chrome door handles, a ducktail spoiler at the rear and a Sport Edition emblem. The variant retains its 1.5-liter i-VTEC engine.
HCPI said the City “has established itself as one of the top-of-mind vehicles for customers in the competitive subcompact sedan category.” The company noted the City is assembled at its manufacturing plant in Santa Rosa City, Laguna.
The City 1.5 Sport CVT costs P899,000. It is available in only two color choices; Taffeta White and Modern Steel Metallic.
HCPI said that marking out the Jazz 1.5 Sport CVT are exterior features derived from the Jazz RS variant, which are 16-inch RS design black alloy wheels, RS Design tailgate spoiler, black door mirror caps and a Sport Edition emblem at the rear.
The company noted that, together with the City Sport, the Jazz is “another Honda nameplate that is well established in the Philippines.” The model commands “a strong following” because of its hatchback configuration, impressive packaging and powerful yet efficient drivetrain. HCPI said the Jazz is the country’s bestselling subcompact.
The Jazz 1.5 Sport CVT sells for P933,000 and is available solely in Brilliant Sporty Blue. Only 30 units of the car will be offered.
