MANILA, Philippines – A section of Roxas Boulevard was temporarily closed to traffic Thursday morning after a black trolley bag was found abandoned in the area.
The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) on Thursday said that heavy traffic is expected along the area as the Roxas Boulevard service road – Padre Faura area was temporarily closed to vehicular traffic due to the suspected bomb threat.
Personnel of the Philippine National Police (PNP) are already on the site to check out the bag, which was left in front of the Golden Service Tower.
MMDA Spokesperson Celine Pialago said that the bomb squad is still checking the luggage as of 6:58 a.m. /gsg –By: Daphne Galvez
